Effective art provokes conversation and appreciation. It provides a sense of place, curiosity, completeness.

With my work, elements of nature and the sea provide artistic inspiration and interpretation. With steel as my primary medium, creating organic, expressive art is at times challenging. Through heat and strong manipulation, steel can be a forgiving, communicative material. 

My work is an amalgam of things we know and imagine. It is not figurative, realistic or classical... It is abstract, intuitive, and organic.
